Retirees, guided by trite brochures and TV ads, often believe that retirement is an endless vacation. It is not. Retirement is a long, long time. Choosing a place to vacation that changes up your routine is great for a week, maybe two, but then life sets in. Places that are great to recreate may not be places to retire.
